Before fitting
Check that the part exactly matches your model (see Finding your MacBook model). An incorrectly fitted part is no longer covered by the warranty: if in doubt, ask our team for advice, or entrust the repair to a professional who will order the part themselves (see Having a part fitted by a repairer).
