  • Unless otherwise stated, the new products offered are carefully selected, very high-quality compatible parts.

Article 3: Prices

Prices are freely set by Repair Mac Parts in accordance with Article L113 of the French Commercial Code. The business reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, except where an offer is subject to a time limit, in which case prices will be maintained until the end of the period defined in that offer.

An invoice is provided for every purchase made on the website. The prices displayed are not subject to VAT.

Article 4: Payment

  • All payments must be made by the customer when ordering, using the payment methods available on the website.
  • No order will be dispatched before payment has been received and confirmed
  • In certain exceptional cases, the payment platform may impose a verification period of up to 7 days.

Article 5: Dispatch of orders

  • Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to enable delivery by the carrier.
  • Orders are dispatched within an average of 1 working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) of the order being confirmed
  • The delivery times shown when placing the order are given in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) and are provided by the carrier for guidance only. Any delivery delays caused by the carrier shall under no circumstances give rise to a refund or any other compensation.
  • Damage in transit: on receipt, the customer must check the condition of the parcel and its contents. In accordance with Article L133-3 of the French Commercial Code, any claim concerning a damaged parcel, or a product damaged or missing as a result of transport, must be reported within 3 days (excluding bank holidays) of receipt, via the website contact page, with photos of the parcel and the product.

Article 6: Returns

6.1 Returns of undelivered orders

  • If delivery is not possible (in particular due to an incorrect or incomplete address) or if the customer fails to collect the parcel within the time limit set by the carrier, the parcel is returned to Repair Mac Parts.
  • The customer may then be offered a new shipment at their own expense.
  • If reshipping is not possible or the customer declines, the order is refunded excluding shipping costs. Any return charges applied by the carrier are deducted from the refund.

6.2 Returns of delivered orders

In the event of an ordering error or a change of mind, the customer has an extended period of 30 days to return the order (instead of the usual 14 days), subject to the following conditions:

  • A request must be made via the website contact page before any return.
  • Returns must be received by Repair Mac Parts at the address provided within 30 calendar days of the order date. Returns to parcel pick-up points are not accepted
  • Returned products must be in exactly the same condition as when sold and, where applicable, still bear the warranty sticker.
  • Returned batteries must differ by fewer than 5 cycles from the cycle count recorded at the time of sale
  • The customer is fully responsible for the returned product until it is received by Repair Mac Parts.
  • Suitable packaging, similar to that used for shipping, must be used to return components.
Fragile components in particular (circuit boards, hard drives, logic boards, keyboards, casings and screens) must be returned in three-layer packaging:
    1. Individual protection: sealed bubble pouch or bubble wrap, thick foam pouch or cardboard sleeve
    2. Protective padding: bubble wrap, foam or kraft paper protecting the individual protection on all sides
    3. Rigid outer protection: cardboard box only
  • Sensitive electronic products received in anti-static packaging (logic boards, circuit boards, connectors, drives, cards…) must be returned in an anti-static (ESD) bag in addition to the packaging mentioned above, just as the item was originally sent by Repair Mac Parts

No refund can be made for items that do not meet the above criteria.

  • Products returned after the period stated in the conditions above, or that do not comply with them, may be sent back to the customer on request. A flat fee of 15 euros will be charged for handling and reshipping. This fee, together with the shipping costs, must be paid by the customer before reshipping.
If payment is not received within 10 days of the customer being notified, the product will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Repair Mac Parts again, without the customer being entitled to claim any refund, compensation or consideration

Article 7: Product warranty

7.1 Scope

  • All products offered on the RepairMacParts website are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase against defects and hidden faults present at the time of purchase.
  • The customer undertakes to provide all the information and photographs needed to prove the defect before any return, and to carry out the troubleshooting procedures suggested by Repair Mac Parts.
  • Once the defect has been confirmed and the product has been returned and checked by Repair Mac Parts, the faulty product is replaced with an identical one. No refunds are made under this warranty.
  • If the product is no longer in stock, the customer is issued with a credit note for the price paid for the product, redeemable on the website.

7.2 Warranty conditions

  • A request must be made via the website contact page before any return.
  • If a defect is confirmed, free return shipping may be offered to customers residing in mainland France.
  • Returned products must be in exactly the same condition as when sold and, where applicable, still bear the warranty sticker.
  • The customer is fully responsible for the returned product until it is received by Repair Mac Parts

Failure to comply with any of these obligations will result in the immediate and permanent cancellation of the warranty. No refund can be offered to the customer.

7.3 Warranty exclusions

  • The warranty described in Article 7.1 applies only to products installed by the buyer themselves. A product installed by anyone other than the buyer is not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation (including damaged connectors or ribbon cables, impact damage or forced parts) is not covered.
  • A product returned without prior authorisation from the Repair Mac Parts team and/or whose reported fault cannot be found will incur a charge of 30 euros for handling, testing and return shipping. These charges, together with the shipping costs, must be paid by the customer before the product is sent back.
If payment is not received within 10 days of the invoice date, the product will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Repair Mac Parts, and the customer may not claim any refund, compensation or consideration whatsoever.
  • The warranty is automatically and permanently void in the event of modification, damage or improper fitting of the hardware.
  • As the capacity of batteries sold, including those fitted in devices sold, depends on how they have been used, batteries are not covered by the warranty, except in the case of proven manufacturing defects.

Article 8: Liability

  • As all products offered undergo strict checks before dispatch, Repair Mac Parts accepts no liability for any damage to property or persons that may arise from incorrect fitting.
  • The use of components, accessories, tools and any other products sold by Repair Mac Parts is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • If in doubt, please contact our team or have your device repaired by a professional

Article 9: Disputes

  • All disputes can be resolved by contacting our team. In the event of a problem, malfunction or complaint, please get in touch with us via the contact page on our website.
  • Our team is committed to finding the best solutions to satisfy you and expects the same honest, appropriate and responsible commitment from its private and business customers in this process.
  • In the event of an unresolved dispute, we invite our customers to use a mediator, who can help reach a solution under the best possible conditions.
  • Where applicable, the competent court shall be the court nearest to the company’s address, as set out in Article 1 of these terms and conditions.

Article 10: Loyalty programme

  • The loyalty programme is a free and optional commercial benefit offered to customers who have an account on the website.
  • Repair Mac Parts may at any time change the rules of the programme (conditions for earning points, value and validity period of points, rewards offered), suspend it or end it, without notice.
  • Repair Mac Parts may at any time modify or cancel all or some of the points in an account, in particular in the event of an error, the cancellation, return or refund of an order, fraud or misuse of the programme.
  • Points have no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

Trade-in terms and conditions

These terms and conditions set out the rights and obligations of Repair Mac Parts and its customers in relation to the purchase of second-hand equipment. Any trade-in request implies the customer’s unreserved acceptance of these trade-in terms and conditions.

Article 1: Customer eligibility

  • Trade-ins are strictly limited to adults. By submitting a request, the customer certifies that they are at least 18 years of age. No trade-in may be concluded with a minor, even if represented. Receipt of a non-compliant product will result in its return in accordance with Article 6.
  • By submitting a trade-in request, the customer certifies that they are the legal owner of the equipment and are entitled to dispose of it freely.
  • The customer certifies that the information they provide, in particular their identity and address, is accurate.

Article 2: Trade-in offer

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check the model, working condition and cosmetic condition, and to select the corresponding trade-in grade.
  • The trade-in offer is based solely on the information declared by the customer. It is valid for 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the date of issue, provided the equipment is sent within this period. After this period, the offer lapses and a new request must be made. Equipment received after this period has expired may be subject to a new offer based on the trade-in values shown on the website on the day Repair Mac Parts processes the trade-in.
  • By sending their equipment, the customer firmly and definitively accepts the trade-in offer at the stated price. This agreement is binding on the customer from the moment of dispatch.
  • Only a finding that the equipment is non-compliant, within the meaning of Article 5, may modify or cancel this agreement. This right rests with Repair Mac Parts alone.

Article 3: Preparing the equipment before dispatch

Before sending any equipment, the customer must:

  • Make a full backup of their data. Repair Mac Parts does not perform any backups and will be unable to recover any data.
  • Turn off Find My and Activation Lock, sign out of their iCloud account and remove the device from their Apple ID.
  • Remove any login, firmware or disk password preventing access to and erasure of the device.
  • Remove the device from any remote management or automated enrolment system (MDM, Apple Business Manager, Apple School Manager).

Any equipment received locked, linked to an account that has not been removed or enrolled in a remote management system is deemed non-compliant and falls under Article 5.

Article 4: Sending the equipment

  • The customer is responsible for their equipment until it arrives at our premises. It is their responsibility to package the equipment carefully and appropriately and to send it so that it arrives in the condition declared.
  • No claims relating to the loss, damage or destruction of the equipment in transit will be accepted.

Article 5: Compliance check on receipt

  • Any equipment received in a condition different from that declared, whose specifications do not match those declared, or which does not meet the obligations of Article 3, will be subject to a revised offer.
  • In the event of non-compliance, a new offer is sent to the customer, who remains free to accept or refuse it under the conditions of Article 6.
  • If the equipment is compliant, the trade-in is confirmed at the originally agreed price and payment is made using the payment method provided by the customer.

Article 6: Non-compliant products and returns

  • The customer has 10 (ten) calendar days from the new offer to accept or refuse it.
  • If the new offer is refused or the equipment cannot be brought into compliance, a flat fee of 15.00 euros (fifteen euros) will be charged to the customer as a contribution towards handling and return costs. This amount must be paid before the equipment is sent back.
  • If no response or payment is received within 60 (sixty) days of the new offer, the equipment received will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Repair Mac Parts, with no compensation offered to its owner.

Article 7: Customer identity and legal register

  • In accordance with Article 321-7 of the French Penal Code, every trade-in must be accompanied by a valid proof of identity of its owner.
  • Repair Mac Parts undertakes to store this data in encrypted form on the server provided by the hosting provider named in the terms and conditions of sale, and not to pass this information on to any third party other than as required by law.
  • If valid proof of identity is not provided, Repair Mac Parts will send the customer a request to provide it. If this is not provided within 60 (sixty) days of receipt, the equipment will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Repair Mac Parts, with no compensation offered to its owner.

Article 8: Handling of data stored on the equipment

  • All storage media received are systematically and securely erased as soon as the trade-in is confirmed. No data is retained.
  • Repair Mac Parts does not access the content of the data stored on the equipment and does not view, copy or extract it.
  • As this erasure is permanent and irreversible, responsibility for making a prior backup lies entirely with the customer, in accordance with Article 3.
  • Details of how personal data collected as part of the trade-in is processed are set out in our privacy policy.

Article 9: Locked equipment or equipment reported stolen

  • Any equipment received locked with a password that has not been provided is deemed non-compliant and falls under Article 5.
  • Any equipment listed in a stolen goods database or whose origin appears doubtful will be held at the disposal of the authorities and handed over to them, together with a formal complaint, with no compensation offered to the customer.

No data falling within the special categories referred to in Article 9 of the GDPR is collected. Our services are not intended for children under the age of 15 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Article 3: Purposes, legal bases and retention periods

The data collected is used for the sole purpose of ensuring the smooth running of the business relationship between Repair Mac Parts and its customers.
It is used to maintain and improve the website, analyse visits and user behaviour, and process enquiries and orders.

Repair Mac Parts undertakes not to sell or disclose any personal data to third parties other than those designated as necessary for the proper functioning and improvement of the services offered.

  • When you sign in with Google Sign-In, we only access the information needed to authenticate you and provide our services: name, e-mail address and profile picture.
  • We undertake to represent our identity and the purpose of our data collection clearly, to explain transparently the types of data collected and the reasons for collecting them, and to use this data only for the purposes expressly described in this policy.
  • This data is not transferred to third parties, used for advertising purposes or used to train artificial intelligence models.
  • You can revoke the access granted at any time from the security settings of your Google account.

Article 5: Recipients and processors

  • Your data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
  • It is accessible to Repair Mac Parts to the extent necessary for each purpose, and shared with the following service providers, acting as processors or as independent controllers: our hosting provider (Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd.), our payment providers, our carriers, our e-mail and newsletter provider, and our bot protection provider.
  • Each processor is bound by a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR and acts solely on the instructions of Repair Mac Parts.

  • Some of our service providers may access data from a country outside the European Union, particularly for technical support purposes.
  • These transfers are subject to the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR: an adequacy decision by the European Commission, or standard contractual clauses together with supplementary technical measures.

Article 7: Cookies and trackers

  • Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function are placed without prior consent, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
  • Analytics cookies and, where applicable, third-party trackers are only placed once you have given your consent via the banner displayed on your first visit.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Refusing is as easy as accepting and does not prevent you from browsing the website.

Article 8: Trade-in data

  • For trade-ins, the collection of your identity document details is a legal requirement. Article 321-7 of the French Criminal Code requires any business whose activity includes selling second-hand goods, or goods acquired from persons other than those who manufacture or deal in them, to keep a daily register enabling the item and the person who sold it to be identified.
  • This information is not used for any other purpose and is only disclosed to the authorities entitled to request inspection of the register.
  • Storage media in traded-in equipment are systematically and securely wiped. Repair Mac Parts does not access the data they contain and does not view, copy or extract it in any way.

Article 9: Fraud prevention and automated processing

  • To protect the website and its users against automated account creation and misuse, certain technical signals are subject to automated analysis, which may result in an account being restricted or suspended.
  • This analysis is based on objective technical criteria and not on any assessment of you as a person.
  • In accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR, you may at any time request that the decision be reviewed by a human, express your point of view and contest the decision by writing to us via the contact page of the website.

Article 10: Data security

  • We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction: encrypted communications (HTTPS), password encryption, access restrictions, regular backups and security updates.
  • As no method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • The right of access and the right to obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
