What you can replace yourself
All of these parts are available in our catalogue for many MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. Availability depends on your model.
- Battery: this is the most common repair. Depending on the model, it is screwed or glued in. Here are all the batteries available.
- Screen: it is usually sold as a complete assembly, ready to fit. You can easily find the right screen for your model.
- Keyboard: it is generally replaced together with the upper case that holds it, known as the “top case”. Here are our keyboards and top cases.
- Trackpad: we offer the trackpad and its flex cable. Here are all the trackpads available.
- Cooling: fans and heatsinks can be replaced when your Mac overheats or gets noisy.
- Sound and video: we offer speakers, microphones and cameras.
- Charging and ports: MagSafe and USB-C charging connectors and USB / HDMI boards can be replaced separately.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: you will find AirPort / Bluetooth cards and antennas.
- Small parts: we also offer cables and flex cables, screws as well as casings and brackets.
- Logic board: it is sold complete, with its processor. Here are all the logic boards available.

What cannot be replaced separately
- Memory and storage on recent models: on a MacBook Air M1, for example, the memory and storage are soldered to the logic board, so you have to replace the logic board to change them. The removable SSDs in our catalogue are for older models (notably MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models from 2012 to 2017), and the memory modules are for older MacBook and MacBook Pro models that have them.
- Touch ID button: it is paired with the original logic board. A new or used Touch ID button will not keep Touch ID working on your logic board unless it goes through Apple. That is why our logic boards for the MacBook Pro 13″ Touch Bar, for example the A1706 and A1989, are sold with their Touch ID button.
- Data on soldered storage: if you replace the logic board on such a Mac, your files stay on the old one. We recommend backing them up beforehand, if your Mac still starts up.
