La carte mère reçue est fonctionnelle et très bien emballée. Le Macbook a tout de suite redémarré une fois installée. Il aurait cependant été préférable de passer un peu d'air comprimé dessus, car elle était recouverte de poussière, de cheveux et de peaux morte.
